The following was received from the Tewin team on April 4th:
Hello members of the Tewin Community Advisory Committee,
We wanted to provide an update on site work within the Tewin study area.
We are nearing completion of the work on access pathways in the area bounded by Ramsayville Road, Leitrim Road, Anderson Road, and the Smith Gooding Municipal Drain.
I spoke about this work in my March 17th communication.
Starting next week, we will be re-establishing access pathways in the area bounded by Piperville Road, Farmers Way, Thunder Road, and Anderson Road.
These access pathways were originally cleared in 2022 under a tree removal permit issued by the City of Ottawa. These access pathways are being re-cleared to support ongoing geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations of the study area.
Environmental consultants, geotechnical consultants, and contractors are planned to be on-site with construction equipment along the planned routes shown in red in the snapshot below over the next 2 weeks.
