The CSCA has received the following notification on March 4th 2026 from the Tewin team:
We would like to pass along the following updates about the current site investigations throughout Tewin:
Over the next month, we will be continuing our investigative site work east of Anderson Road and north of Piperville Road, including new boreholes.
Additional investigative boreholes will be completed west of Anderson Road and south of Leitrim Road throughout the next few months. Select pathways will be cleared to facilitate equipment access. This work has been strategically coordinated to use existing pathways where possible, and is being completed in accordance with the City of Ottawa-issued Tree Cut Permit D06-01-25-0031. A map showing the proposed pathways for tree removal (in red) is copied below, for your information.
As always, we continue to access various parts of the Tewin site to undertake environmental surveys and to work with our groundwater, surface water, and other monitoring stations.
All of the above-noted work is being completed on private property to support the ongoing planning for Tewin, in accordance with City requirements.

Please feel free to reach out to the Tewin team at https://www.tewin.ca/get-involved/ with any questions.
